- My husband and I are in the process of rebuilding a 50' wood schooner. We spent some time sailing the west coast and then had an unexpected crew member show up, our beautiful daughter. We then decided to sell our 36' Tiburon ketch and buy a boat large enough to accommodate our family in style. We realized we really couldn't find what we wanted so decided to take on the reconstruction of a wood boat. This is helping to fulfill my dream of designing a home and my husbands dream of boat building. We are now neck deep in the craziest project I have ever undertaken, and while it is a slow and sometimes stressful project we love what we are doing and can't wait to move aboard. I hope to be able to sell my jewelry as a way to help fund our sailing adventures around the world. I have been making jewelry since I was 18 years old and I'm very passionate about it.
